The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Creating Resilient Water Utilities (CRWU) initiative is providing a series of five, free webinars for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater (water sector) utility owners and operators, as well as other water sector stakeholders in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Grants Gateway Open for Resilience and Restoration Funds – Maryland Department of Natural Resources is Accepting Applications from Governments and Nonprofits

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced the Grants Gateway application is open for local governments and organizations for FY23, which begins July 1, 2022. The Gateway provides a streamlined, single point of entry to several state and federal programs to restore the Chesapeake Bay and help coastal communities. This year, Maryland helped coordinate more than $35 million in state and federal support for hundreds of projects and initiatives that are protecting and enhancing the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

37th Annual MPCA Conference is Less than a Month Away!

The Maryland Planning Commissioners Association (MPCA) is holding its 37th annual conference on Monday, November 9th at 9:00 a.m.  The board invites you to join us on the Maryland Department of Planning’s (Planning) GoToWebinar platform from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition, registrants can join for only those sessions their schedule allows, although we think the whole day will be well worth it!
