Hagerstown city attorney, Jennifer Keefer, reviews the intricacies of Ex parte’ communication with workshop attendees
The Maryland Planning Commissioners Association (MPCA) conducted its first Regional Workshop at the University of Maryland, Hagerstown on March 29th. Close to 40 citizen and professional planners participated in an event designed to bring key sessions from the annual conference out to planners in Western Maryland. Sessions included Nuts and Bolts, Ethics and Ex parte’, Citizen Planner Resources, and a regional dialogue. Staff video-taped the workshop, which will be provided as a website resource. The MPCA received significant positive feedback about the event and will be conducting another workshop in Annapolis on July 19th. The venue and details are to be determined, but the session content will remain the same. Save the date and join us on a Friday in mid July!
