MPCA Corner
Earlier this month, we informed you that the Maryland Planning Commissioners Association (MPCA) has decided to move its 38th annual fall conference to a virtual format.
While the MPCA Executive Committee would love to gather with everyone in beautiful Solomons, it also wants to ensure the health and safety of its members and conference guests. And the show goes on!
The good news, however, is that the conference is being expanded by one day, making it a three-day affair from October 25th to 27th. This will allow for the addition of the Academy for Excellence’s Open Meetings Act Training on Monday October 25th.
The MPCA is partnering with the Maryland Department of Planning to use GoToWebinar to host three days of citizen planner education and celebration. The program is packed with sessions that will engage citizen and professional planners alike in topics impacting Maryland’s communities and the boards that guide sustainable growth. To learn more about the sessions and agenda, please visit the MPCA conference home page.
Registration is Free and Now Open!
Registration provides access to all three days of the conference, including sessions, citizen planner recognitions, and the MPCA annual meeting. The MPCA will also secure American Institute of Certified Planner CM credits for multiple sessions, so don’t miss out!
