Pat Keller is the Maryland Department of Planning’s Assistant Secretary for Planning Services. The Assistant Secretary works with Planning’s Local Assistance, Resource Conservation and Management, Infrastructure development, Data Analysis, Property Mapping, and State Data Center.

Pat earned a BA in Urban Studies from George Washington University, and a MA degree in Public Administration from the University of Iowa. His experience in city planning and urban design includes working for local and state government. He worked for the Iowa City, IA department of planning, the City of Annapolis, MD Planning Department, the Lancaster County, PA Planning Commission, Baltimore County, MD Planning Department, and most recently was MDOT’s MTA Deputy Chief Statewide Services.

Pat enjoys fly fishing and can often be found on the Gunpowder or Potomac Rivers.
