“What can the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) do for you?” was the question posed by Meredith Hill, Innovative Planning and Performance Division Chief at the September Planning Directors Roundtable.

MDOT SHA increasingly provides information to the transportation industry, local governments, state agencies, and the public and has found itself reinventing the way it shares complex information. Based on the Maryland State Highway Mobility Report, the County Transportation Profile Dashboard is a product of the Office of Planning and Preliminary Engineering to help communicate the regional characteristics contributing to transportation safety, mobility, and asset management.  Once complete, the dashboard will provide easy access to data and information to aid in local transportation and land use planning.
