Now Open: US EPA Solicitations for FY2022 Brownfield Grants 

The Environmental Protection Agency defines a brownfield as a “property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant.”

The guidelines for EPA’s FY22 brownfield grants were recently made available on EPA’s website. The available brownfield grants include Assessment Grants, Revolving Loan Fund Grants, and Cleanup Grants.

Except for the State and Tribal Response Program Grant application, which is due December 17, grant applications are due December 1. Details about eligibility and available funding amounts for each type of grant are available within the grant guidelines at the link listed above.
